 HVAdvantage for Healthcare
With our enhanced HVA for facilities Engineering and Maintenance, you will realize the true extent of risk to your physical environment. Virtual’s proprietary methodology and tools are designed for Healthcare, building on the Hazard Vulnerability Analysis required as part of JCAHO hospital accreditation processes.
The standard HVA is useful for auditors looking to confirm minimal compliance. Virtual’s approach arms your organization to assess risk, develop mitigation strategies and utilize limited capital for maximum benefit. The standard HVA’s incorporation into your facility’s emergency operation plan(s) may not tell you enough about your state of preparedness and readiness to handle a local or regional crisis event.
What if the event is IN one or more of your facilities? Is the standard HVA robust enough to provide the depth of useable, actionable information you need for planning and strategy, budgeting and prioritization purposes?
Our Healthcare Consultants build on the standard hazard vulnerability analysis to develop the most comprehensive picture of your facility’s state of preparedness. Virtual’s proprietary model, methodology and tools, HVAdvantage, efficiently expands and enhances the HVA well beyond its traditional boundaries. We provide robust reporting for your use in planning, strategy, budgeting and priority setting. HVAdvantage delivers a targeted risk assessment in parallel with the HVA and yields a complete preparedness picture including an easily understood preparedness scorecard and dependency matrix within the enhanced HVA.
Our clients receive an objective and comprehensive report based on the findings derived from HVAdvantage. The entire process can be accomplished in as little as 10-13 weeks depending on the size and complexity of your hospital or healthcare facility being evaluated. HVAdvantage is flexible, so it can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
Our experienced Healthcare Consultants have extensive and proven skills in facility risk evaluation, business continuity, continuity of operations, disaster recovery, emergency response planning and other relevant facets of developing and maintaining a viable and resilient environment.
Our Healthcare Consultants work with your core team to:

You will have the advantage of knowing that the data and information driving your emergency and continuity of healthcare operations planning is comprehensive, realistic, and conclusive.
In addition to bringing value to the healthcare environment, this methodology can be effectively applied to any business that is dependent on the physical environment for the continuity of their services.
